This is an excellent game, one of the best ever made. That being said, don't buy it online. I bought one because mine wouldn't work on the new system I bought. The new one I bought was busted right out the package... Just hope wii adds it to virtual console or go on gametap or something, these old cartridges aren't all that reliable that you can buy them sight unseen.
Rating: - THE BEST CASTLEVANIA FOR THE NES AND ONE OF THE BEST IN GENERAL
This game is simply one of the best castlevania games i played
you get help of three different spirits, have to choose different paths avery time you play and the music is the best of the old NES games .

If you like the other Castlevanias (including Symphony of the Night, ... Read More
Rating: - A Classic
One of the greatest games ever to be released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It is actually a prequel to Castlevania and Castlevania 2. The gameplay has returned to the more traditional Castlevania (removing the RPG gameplay from the second one). However in this game you can choose your path to the castle and you can have another charactor to help you along (you will "bump" into them during your quest). This I consider to be in the top ten catigory as one of the ... Read More
