Pit Droids poses the age-old math question: "If a droid traveling five miles per hour leaves Mos Espa at dawn, how long will it take to get to the Arena Gate?" Watto, Tatooine's notorious junk dealer, has purchased a large pit-droids shipment to help with the pod races. Naturally, the droids don't know the way, leaving you to direct the capering mechanoids to their goals by placing various arrows in their path.
Right from the slick panoramic interface, Pit Droids is a blast. C-3PO's thorough tutorials (featuring the inimitable Anthony Daniels) and R2-D2's chirpy in-game help will have you herding the hordes of droids in no time. Not only do you need to avoid collisions, you need to change droids' attributes, sort them, and adjust the timing of their patterns. While holding your attention with the frenetic puzzle-solving fun, Pit Droids quietly refines your logical-thinking and problem-solving skills, making it a great game for older children as well as adults.
Pit Droids rewards progress with comic short films of the clowning droids in action. Rating:  - Logic Puzzles Galore
Excellent logic puzzle game. Playing this game will certainly embed the concept of ratios in your child. The ability to pause and think and try different solutions is handy. The feature to create your own puzzles is a wonderful extension for a thinking child. The artwork is familiar and the droids are as fun as in the movies.
Rating: - Puzzle fun
This game can be challenging but, we play as a family "team" and all contribute to the solution. It has made for hours of fun. It is not a heavy duty learning game but, it helps my little ones use the mouse and learn the tactile-visual interface necessary to feel comfortable on the computer.
Rating: - The second best game!
This is my second favorite game next to runescape. I really love to make up my own puzzles and have my dad (yes he plays to) try them. The whole family enjoys this game. I would reccomend it to anyone who likes puzzle games.
