Rating: out of 5 stars - Please Dont Try Again
Next to Slayers and Slayers Next this chapter is nothing at all. In fact this is the only one I didn't watch continuous. I came into this expecting exactly everything I saw from the first 2 but it seemed more of a rehash and it was just... there.

It's like they took no time at all to put this one together. The general plot isn't as captivating this time around. The comedy is alright at best and the side stories that give you a rest from the general story are just dumb and have a very ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Pretty bad
Basically a rehash of the first two Slayers series, with the gang embarking on a quest to thwart a demon-dragon demi-god named Valgaav, who has a blood feud going on with these golden dragon guys and was a servant of Gaav the Demon Dragon King. However, the 3rd entry in the Slayers TV series lacks the charm and comic timing of the two previous series. By this point the novelty had pretty much worn off and the over the top nature of the characters and humor was more annoying than actually funny. A sad ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Sad Cunclusion to Great series! (Sad Ending)
I have always LOVED The Slayers and The Slayers Next since i was little!! I used to watch them every Sunday on The International Channel, along with Dragonball Z, znd GT. So, this boxset has less special features, and it has Breeze (slayers try opening) when the DVD loads, and the menu pops up, it was scary the first time!! The plot got kinda complicated at times, and i REALLY HATED XELLOS in this series, he seems more EVIL, not as nice like in the slayers next, when he just screwed with their lives to ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - It all comes to an end
If you enjoyed Slayers...and you enjoyed Next...then you MUST have Try. As always it starts off a little slow but thankfully the comedy kicks in. Not all of the episodes are long drawn story based, you get a few back and forth that just make you sit back and enjoy. Also a special feature at the end which lets you meet the cast. The only thing I had noticed is if you didn't watch all of the previous installments it may be a little bit confusing. All in all I found this very enjoyable and at the end you're ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Slayers Try!! Love it or Hate it. Hey it's Slayers
Ok, so the 3rd season of Slayers is a little lame, but I found it to be as funny as Slayers Next. Slayers Try finishes off the Slayers series which was very funny from the start. Who would have thought this series would last 3 season and spawn several movies and a special or two. Slayers Try brings an end to a series that could have gone another season or 2. Linna and Gorury are back so is that rougish Xellos and the rest of the gang for one last season. Here we are caught in the middle of another monster ... Read More
