Editorial Review:
If imaginative play is a child's most important work, Kipper: Imagine That! will give kids plenty of ideas to work with in this sweet compilation of seven Nick Jr. episodes, based on the books by British author-illustrator Mick Inkpen. Compared by some to Eric Hill's Spot, Kipper is a floppy-eared, good-natured puppy drawn in simple lines and pastel hues. During this one-hour program, Kipper and pals turn ordinary playthings into imaginative adventures. In one story, a tattered rope becomes a circus trapeze; in another, a tree trunk morphs into a pirate's cove. Later, a bouquet of balloons gives rise to lofty imaginings. Young viewers will be inspired to create their own fanciful frolics (magic shows, costume parties, and carnival games) when they hear Kipper's kindly encouragement to "give it a go." Messages of courtesy and cooperation are sprinkled throughout these comfortably paced tales, which are all in a day's work for youngsters ages 2 to 6. --Lynn Gibson

Rating: out of 5 stars - Too Scary, Many Better Kipper Choices Out There
This is not our favorite of the Kipper videos, and if you are a parent that tries hard to screen out today's violent and nightmare-causing kid's shows, you would be angry at the content of this particular video.

The episode in which Kipper finds a lamp (British for Flashlight, I guess) and Kipper goes to buddy Tiger's house and they discover the secret staircase which leads up endlessly and then finally to the top where they meet the ugly fire-breathing dragon that tries to breath fire ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - LOVE IT!
My toddler loves Kipper so he was so excited for this movie. He's watched it countless times and still loves it. Kipper is so sweet and so fun......it's a perfect show for little ones.

Rating: out of 5 stars - kipper episodes are entertaining and fun to watch
my 3 yr old loves the kipper episodes. we have been through a whole bunch of series and sets of favorite characters and kipper has held up to dora and barney and the einstein videos. the skits in each video/dvd are along the lines of things kids his age would think of and do, so he totally relates to these shows. this is another great one in the series that are out so far

Rating: out of 5 stars - Collect them all
The Kipper series continues to provide excellent and affordable entertainment for children and their parents.
This collection of stories lives up to its name, with stories that will amuse and amaze, and illustrations that are simple but effective.
As soon as this comes out in DVD format, I'll be first in line to get a copy - it's a keeper.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Another great Kipper video
All my kids (ages 7, 5 & 2 1/2) just love watching the Kipper videos and especially this one. There are so many imaginative adventures in this one...the dragon scene -- I guess it depends on the kids. My kids can't wait for the dragon to pop out, and they want to rewind over that part many times in a row to watch it again. There's really nothing to dislike, in general, about the Kipper videos, and this one does not disappoint.
