I would like to warn parents and educators of this product. In my opinion, not only was the software poorly designed and difficult to follow; the content was offensive. For example, when my daughter and I were going through the game together, there was a section where it is necessary to type in the answers to some math facts. My daughter, age 8, has been using Math Blaster (8-9) in her third grade class since the beginning of the year, 2002-2003. She loves it! Her grades on math, which were her weakess subject, have exceeded my expectations. This product reinforces math techniques learned in class; which provide her a better understanding of the concepts.
