It was not exactly what I would have liked. I would have preferred more of a real choir with organ accompaniment, rather than an orchestra. It is makes for nice background/inspirational collection however.

CD contains only snippets of favorite hymns, all jammed together in a slap-dash concoction. Very unsatisfying. Just god-awful!
Rating:  - A Touch of Heaven on Earth
This collection of hymns is very inspiring and you will, if like me, get caught up in singing along. I play the CDs in the car and the hymns are more than enough relief from the traffic snarls and road rage to get me to and from where I am going.
As the opportunities present themselves, such as when one of these hip-hop vibrating cars pulls up next to me at a light and is so loud I cannot hear, I roll the window down and let them hear a touch of Heaven which out-sounds their worldly ... Read More

After listening to the music, the songs are very inspirational, and soothing to the soul.
Rating: - Glorious.
This double cd set contains the most beautiful collections of hymns I've ever heard and every hymn is magnificently orchestrated and performed. I am partial to the 2nd cd, but both contain a wealth of musical excellence and, above all, spiritual inspiration.
