I own over 50,000 films and "Make Mine Mink" is one of my favorites. Why? It is incredibly funny, heartwarming, and it reminds me of a different age altogether- when comedy was actually funny. The actors are all superb and blend together beautifully, but I must comment on the divine Elspeth Duxbury who plays "Pinkie." A non-stop hoot and a scream from start to finish. I was in tears from laughing. The character observation was priceless, the dialogue a delight beyond compare. A soaring comic British masterpiece from the dear, dead, days beyond recall. BRR: before rock-and-roll --- 1958 it says above, but actually 1960.
