This AC adapter will enable you to charge you PDA when it's not in the docking station. Use the extra AC adapter to charge the PDA at home or when you're on a business trip. You can even keep the AC adapter plugged into the Zaurus while using it to conserve the battery for use when a power outlet is not available.

Reviewing this item seems silly. It's the same AC adapter that ships with the Zaurus 5000 & 5500. It works perfectly. You can either attach it directly to the PDA or connect it to the docking station that came with the unit (you can buy extra docking stations, too).
Just be aware that this is the AC adapter ONLY. It does not come with a docking station for syncing with your PC. Also, it's NOT a car AC adapter. It's just for recharging your unit's power with a conventional power outlet ... Read More
