Wanted to make my DVD burner portable. The case is very well made. It was easy to install my DVD burner. It required using the provided screws to mount the drive to the base of the case. The case has a removeable front panel to allow it work with either an EIDE drive or a drive with a tray that slides open. It has a fan for cooling. It is fairly quiet.
