I purchased "Aspen Extreme" solely as a vintage ski movie. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is a good movie by any standards, and it met my ski expectations.
The movie has well developed characters, a true story line, excellent production values, and good acting. This movie would be in the upper half of theatrical releases in any year.
I was never bored by the off-slope footage, which is a huge accomplishment for a movie that does have good ski footage.

Rating: - Aspen Extreme, better than average
Being that I am a Skier I guess I am more predisposed to liking this movie. But, that said, there is more here than just skiing. We get multiple stories woven into the thread of the Movie. It's one part buddy Movie, and one part guy gets girl, loses girl, gets girl again. Then add a Warren Miller element because the skiing in the Movie is good, really good. I would recommend this Movie as a very good Movie. I have heard some describe it as a great movie. I don't buy into that, but it is worth viewing ... Read More
