The system consists of a pair of compact satellite speakers driven by 20 watts apiece (each with a 2.5-inch high-efficiency driver) and a powered, 26-watt subwoofer to round out the speakers' low end. A convenient desktop volume control lets you easily manage the system's playback level while you work or play.
The satellites feature cloth grille covers, and the subwoofer is housed in an acoustically balanced wood cabinet with a ported, bass-reflex enclosure for extra low-end heft. The system is PC and Mac compatible, with a single minijack .125-inch stereo analog audio input.

I can not be impressed enough with these speakers, particularly for the price! Crisp clean sound, good volume control, a powerful sub woofer- this is an all around solid system.
The wiring for these speakers is not flimsy, but good soft wires that are flexible enough to untangle and not break the fibers inside. great speakers, they can get pretty loud. if you play with the equalizer on whatever media player your going to use you can get some great sound. for just one room the wattage and amplification is perfect. for more then just a room you would probably want to get something just a little more powerful. these are definately good speakers i've had no problems. i'm in college and i live in a dorm and with these speakers i've had my fair share of noise violations.

I just purchased my third set of these speakers. I really can't believe the sound, the depth of the bass. So easy to set up, VERY quick shipping, super sleek look. You won't be disappointed.

All these people who gave it a 5 star either:
A) work for cyber acoustic
B) are deaf
These things are HORRIBLE, bass being boomy and muddy is being nice. The sub distorts like crazy, nothing but a 50 or 60hz thump.
Get anything else brand name, even their low end would be way better than these...... logitech, klipsch, altec lansing, ANYTHING.

I bought these for my teenage son. This is actually the second set I bought, the other was also for a teen. They prefer to use the computer instead of a larger stereo but want the same sound. These speakers can really go loud without distortion and the bass the exactly what they want.
