It's just like an animated feature starring Mickey, only you get to control the mouse himself. Here's the story: One night, a mischievous ghost traps a sleepwalking Mickey Mouse in a magical mirror. Stuck in an alternate universe that strangely resembles his own house, Mickey yearns to get back through the mirror. Returning won't be easy, though--Mickey must first recover the broken mirror pieces that have been strewn about his house by the prankish poltergeist. The simple yet elegant gameplay mechanics are accessible to younger gamers. You control a glove, pointing and clicking to guide Mickey to his next destination. Just as in an authentic Mickey cartoon, you will have to outwit enemies and pull gags. You will also be able to uncover special souvenirs, such as Pluto's collar or Minnie's bow, which are all displayed in Mickey's room at the end of the game. Mickey is highly expressive, reacting emotionally to what you do and what he encounters. He may express curiosity, get mad, fall down, run away, or stand his ground. Mickey can receive extra help if you connect with Disney's Magical Quest Starring Mickey and Minnie for Game Boy Advance using the special GameCube/Game Boy Advance cable. A parent mode allows an adult and child to play along together, with the adult controlling Mickey.

Rating: - Not fun at any age!
I bought this game for my 5 year old triplets. The cursor doesn't always respond well, and is very frustrating. The games "childrens mode" is actually more frustrating than the normal mode, as it doesn't have the hint icon. The game occasionally plays a cartoon for up to 5 minutes that you cannot move past until it finishes, which frustrated my kids and myself to no end. The childrens mode sometimes moves automatically, and sometimes goes to the same rooms over and over again. The "ghost" terrifies ... Read More

I just bought this game about a week ago and Its great to just play through and relax. The graphics I think are pretty much average compared to any other gamecube game. One thing I thought was amazing is they actually have a cartoon playing briefly during the game and the picture was crystal clear. I think its worth the money if you can get it on sale like I did. But if you spend more than 15-20 dollars on it you may be disappointed. Check your local ToysRUs. Another plus if you have any children is that ... Read More
Rating: - Worst Game Made For Gamecube
When I first got this game it looked fun but when I played it for the first time is was horrible. The graphics are bad. I didn't even know how to play it even after looking at the instruction manual. Even in the middle of the game, it would pause without me going to the main menu. I would never buy it again, even if someone paid me. Do not waste your money on it.
Rating: - A Fun Adventure Game
I am shocked at how many people have given this game such a bad review. This is actually a good solid game that is a lot of fun. You play as Mickey Mouse in a "Myst" style game format (anyone remember Myst for the PC and Playstation?), where, yes it IS a point and click type game but far more interactive and spunky than Myst was. The graphics in this game are vibrant and smooth, doing thier job well to make you feel like you are in a Disney movie. Mickey is silly and happy throughout the game, saying cute ... Read More
