With JOHN AGAR, TOUCH (MICHAEL) CONNORS, RAYMOND HATTON, JOYCE MEADOWS. A desperate prisoner overcomes a guard and makes his escape from the Big House at the start of this absorbing and atmospheric Western drama. He approaches a farm house and promptly commits three despicable acts. First, he steals a gun. Then, he murders an innocent young farmer named Matthew Random. Finally, he steals a horse and rides off into the wilderness. Almost immediately, Matthews twin brother Willow comes onto the scene. As he buries his brother, Willow vows revenge and sets off on a manhunt for Matthews killer. "Ill find him," Willow promises. "Id be careful if I were you," he is warned. It just so happens that the murderer is a member of the notorious Checker Gang and is renowned for being fast on the trigger. However, nothing will halt Willow in his quest for revenge and justice. How will he be able to identify the culprit? It so happens that the gun, which is now in possession of the killer is a rare and unusual firearm. It is one of a specially-made pair, each of which is owned by the brothers. So, if Willow can find the man who sports this easily identifiable gun, he is certain that he will have found his brothers killer. What happens next is quite a plot twist, which is the first of many in this extremely well-done tale. Television star-to-be Michael Connors (who was billed as "Touch" Connors in the various films in which he appeared during the 1950s) offers a lively performance as a gunman who hooks up with Willow in his quest for the Checker Gang. 78 minutes.

Rating: - Almost a Tour-de-Force performance
This title is a must for Mike Connor fans. This movie clearly illustrates his professional skills early in his career. Frankly, he stole the picture from John Agar.
Connors dialogue, once he makes his appearance is practically non-stop! His character is constantly talking, moving and very open and flamboyant. His character is totally different from any character I've seen him portray and his performance is riveting.
You kind of hate to see this one end.
