Rating: out of 5 stars - Digital Golf School
The golf instructor in our Adult Education program uses the DVD with the students in his class. He finds it an extremely useful tool in showing his students the correct swing for golf. He was desparate to get this DVD for his students and is thrilled to have it.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Simon Says "Do This"
Of all the many books and videos I have purchased this is by far the most complete and understandable guide to how and why the golf swing is an individual movement based on certain abilities of each reader. We all wish we could swing like Ben Hogan and I value his teaching instructions but Simon gives us the insight into making the best of what we have and this video allows us to see the why and how of each important movement in all the phases of the game, driving, chipping, putting and bunker play. ... Rating: out of 5 stars - Using YOUR perspective!
This golf instruction dvd is superb. Simon Holmes is a great instructer, and manages to explain the principles of golf in an easy-to-understand, as well as easy-to-put-to-use manner. I've seen several of David Leadbetter's instruction videos as well, and they're fine, but Simon Holmes is way better because of one single element. His instructions focuses on your perspective by explaining the the fundamentals of golf in a way that YOU can incorporate the next time you go to the range or to play a round. ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Best golf video ever
This is the best of over a dozen golf videos I have seen. The instructor explains everything in detail for the beginning golfer with tips for those beyond beginners as well. What I like the most was how he explained why things happen. Many of the videos show you how to play golf, but without some explanation of the science and mechanics behind it, it is very difficult to analyze any problems you are having and come up with solutions. I recommend this video highly.

THE BAD
I can't say I dislike this item, but I did not like it either. Even though I'm still a novice golfer (score between 95-105) and been playing for about 18 months, I've read a lot of golf fundamentals articles and studied like 4 other DVDs ...(yes I'm an instruction junky) and I can say that this instrutor (Simon Holmes) misses to point out many important fundamental factors that influence a good swing, and even though I like how the DVD has a well structured lesson category listing, he does ...
