Editorial Review: Party Monster is based on the book, Disco Bloodbath by James St. James, which told the twisted story of notorious 'Club Kid' Michael Alig, & the murder of his drug dealer roommate. The story became a national scandal that graced the covers of newspapers across the country & led to the best-selling book. Set in the lavish, hyper-sexual 80s club scene, Party Monster pulses with electro beats. The movie is directed by Fenton Bailey & Randy Barbado (The Eyes Of Tammy Faye, The Ru-Paul Show) & stars Macaulay Culkin, Seth Green, Dylan McDermott, Chloe Sevigny & Marilyn Manson. Featuring 19 tracks from the likes of Mannequin, Ladytron, Miss Kitten & The Hacker, Tones On Tail, ABC, Nina Hagen, & more. TVT. 2003.
The 21 Track Collection from the Motion Picture Soundtrack Includes Classic 80's Dance Music from the Era. Includes Two Tracks that Don't Appear on the USA Equivalent.

Rating: - Poor Quality
This was listed as being in good condition. This cd was so scratched that I had to take it in to be repaired. They still couldn't get one of the scratches out. (It skips in song 6). It was on time, which is why I gave 2 stars. Otherwise, I will not be purchasing items from this seller any more.
Rating: - It's so fun, I really liked it.
The movie is so fun; in Mexico the movie never has played, I don't know why, but it's a great movie, but only if you like that kind of movies where tradegy is fun and if you don't have any problems with gay people.
Rating: - Perfect album for a party monster
This is a techno lover's dream - the music is varied and catchy, and perfect to dance to. I love this album, but you probably won't if you aren't a technofreak, into the club scene, or just really love this kind of music. A standout track on this album is the inclusion of Scissor Sisters' "Can't Come Quickly Enough"; for me it was easily my favorite. My only complaint is that they did not feel the need to include two songs used in the film; "Supermodel Inc" by Larry Tee, and the instrumental track ... Read More
Rating: - great stuff....
...as a reviewer below, I leave this in my player and listen to it over and over. Not for the techno-challenged, though.
Rating: - Almost Perfect....
I absolutely LOVE this soundtrack and movie! However, does anyone know what song is briefly playing when Micheal starts talking about moving to New York City and it cuts to a picture of him with a "I Love New York" shirt and then cuts to him in Grand Central station? If anyone knows I would really appreciate it!
