Rating: - Junk - but good support under warranty
I've had this piece of junk for just more than one year. I was attracted to it by the great feature set - large widescreen video, separate (not shared) video RAM, DVD player and CD burner, built in wireless and the media card reader. I increased the RAM to 1GB and performance was quite good. Then the troubles started. After less than 90 days it started having power problems. The machine would suddenly shut itself off for no apparent reason. I sent it back under warranty and it was repaired. ... Read More
Rating: - A real bomb!
E Machine Laptop heats up and shuts off and the monitor flickers. I have sent it back three times and today is the fourth time, as it continues to shut off and flickers. I have it for less than a year, and I cannot get my money back. I have written the Attorney General at their Irvine, California headquarters to try to get my money back. Let's hope that works.
