Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I LOVE This Album
This album is one of my favorites. I got it on vinyl in the mid-'70s shortly after its initial release (without the bonus tracks) and, aside from the rather pretentious "Amazing Grace" at the end, I love it through and through.

If I were to have only one Jonathan Richman album, this would be it. It has all my favorites of his (except "Dodge Vegomatic") on it. The band's style, which reminds me of the amateur rock & roll bands we had play at our high school dances in the '60s, features ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - 3 stars but a 4th due to the very cool Beserkley bonus trax
I have this album, yes, vinyl lp, from the 70's. I also have the Beserkley sampler with these 4 bonus trax. The album was never one of his strongest from the 70's. There's a coupla songs that are nice but mostly this album is a bit indlugent which Jonathan can be off and on.

The bonus trax are excellent. They seem to show up here and there on various Jonathan re-issue records. Any way you can get them they're all four worth it. Strong songs of love or how he sees life.
