Sylvania's 6313CE combines a 13-inch color TV with a built-in VCR for a great all-in-one unit that lets you watch movies and TV with recording and playback capabilities. The TV is completely cable-ready, with a 181-channel direct-selection tuner and timesaving automatic channel setup.The VCR's clock time conveniently sets itself when the unit is used within range of a PBS broadcast station. Other VCR features include automatic rewind at the end of a tape, sleep and wake-up timers. The VCR features automatic head cleaning and a 1-year, 8-event recording timer. In addition to programmable timer recording and daily and weekly timed recording, one-touch timed recording of anywhere from 30 to 480 minutes.Automatic power on/off saves time, turning the TV/VCR on automatically whenever you insert a tape, and turning the unit off and ejecting a tape automatically after rewinding it. This unit also offers Closed Captioning text V-Chip-based parental controls, in addition to other convenient features such as last-channel recall, resume power-on after a brief power interruption, and auto shutoff.The 6313CE provides front A/V inputs for quick and easy connection of camcorders, digital cameras, and video game consoles, as well as an RF connector in back for use with cable or a rod antenna.

My husband and I bought this gift for my Mom who is in her 90s. She loves the fact she can watch her DVDs and VHS tapes all in one compact TV. It's too bad they are phasing these TVs out. Thank you Amazon.com for listing this great product on your site! You were a lifesaver!

We've had this TV/VCR combo for 2 years, and we're experiencing the same problem as other reviewers. This TV has suddenly started turning itself off for no reason. It turns on for 5-10 seconds, then turns itself off. The TV and VCR were working fine as of 2 days ago. Sylvania customer service was of no help and only offered repair shop locations (fee-based repair). The antenna also broke almost immediately after buying it, and it always had very poor reception--we hooked it up to the satellite instead. ... Read More

Great little TV, but the VCR part of this combo started kicking the VCR tapes out and turning the TV off automatically within 9 months of purchasing the unit.

Returned immediately because it didn't work. We turned on power and in less than 5 seconds, it would turn off.
