Elissa strikes gold with her 2004 album Ahla Dounya, translated "The Sweetest Life". Again, this album from beginnig to end is perfection. The ballads are just amazing and the fast/dancey songs are wonderful too.
Best Tracks: Hobak Wajaa (Inta Lameen), Gowaya Leek, Kan Nefsy Araf and Ahla Dounya.

While this CD has some strong tracks, there is no big hit on the scope of Baddy Doub, Aayshalak, Bitrooh, or Shiltak from her other efforts. If your preference is for upbeat, pop-inspired songs such as Diana Haddad's, "Shater" and Samira Saeed's "Youm Wara Youm," then there's not a lot here for you. The mournful, soulful, lugubrious ballads, however, are aplenty. The best track and closest to her previous smash hits is probably "Koul Youm Fee Oumri" which will definitely get your feet tapping. ... Read More

Besides being a very beautiful woman, Elissa can really sing. She has such a soft and melodic voice that the music transports you to distant lands. The band that plays with her is also top notch.
