Superior engineering includes non-resonant MDF construction with 3/4" baffle and internal bracing for deep bass impact with superior detail, accuracy and musicality. Built-in high current amplifiers supply all the good, clean power you need for big bass. The amplifier features adjustable low-pass crossover, phase switch and subwoofer volume control to more easily control your bass output and the sub's blending characteristics with your front stage speakers.
Magnetically shielding lets you place the unit near your state-of-the-art TV or video monitor with no risk of video distortion.

Rating: - nice, crisp base - good value
Great unit, easy hookyp and works very well w/ our Yamaha receiver and Niles in ceiling speakers. Am I an expert on subwoofers, no but I did a bunch of research on these when I bought it a year or so ago and this product seemed to hit the sweetspot between price and quality.
Note: it is VERY powerful, get the smaller unit if you don't have a huge room to rock.

I was in the market for a good sounding subwoofer but didn't want my bank account to suffer. I found this gem on amazon and was pleased with all of the positive reviews, so I purchased it. I've had it for 2 months now and have been pleased with its performance. I use it for my home theater setup and it is an essential component. I use the sub in a basement home theater and works great! Room size 30x25 and can feel the thump. Matches up great with my onkyo tx-sr605 receiver and streem ht808's. Highly recomend!!
Rating: - Good entry level sub at an affordable price
I am a novice piecing together my home entertainment center, so admittedly, I am no expert in this arena. I already own four bookshelf and a center channel speaker, but once I installed the PSW12 I was very pleased. Movies are much more enjoyable now. This sub provides rich full sound, with deep smooth bass.

I'm not an audiophile by any means but I like my music to sound good. My system consists of NAD power and ADS speakers, and it sounded pretty good to begin with, but just didn't have the depth I wanted. With my large combined living room/dining room area, I decided (after reading several reviews) to go with the PSW 12 rather than the 10" model and I'm glad I did.
