Editorial Review:
As a student at the TCSN Academy, you custom-design and fly unique combat, rescue, and search and retrieval missions from the CyberSchool's holographic simulator. You are trained in a variety of classes and exercises that will adequately prepare you for real-life combat in space. You will learn how to effectively navigate asteroid and mine fields, retrieve ejected pilots and data capsules from space, blow enemy capital ships out of space and defend your own space station against attacking forces.

Rating: out of 5 stars - you are a new student at the achademy to fight along side Blair and the crew
No, you are not the same character from Wing Commander 1-3(referrenced as "Christopher "Mavrick" Blair in WC3). You are a brand new student in training much like the game "Star Trek Academy". Rating: out of 5 stars - Interesting stop gap
I'm a big big BIG fan of all things Wing Commander. WC: Academy fits in between WC2 and WC3. It added some innovative features (custom missions) and solid game play. The value was limited by not having the kind of in-depth campaign and storyline of WC2 and WC3. A must have for "wing nuts", but casual gamers may want to pass.

4.5 stars!
