The toy is educational, if the kids love to play the spelling words. I think it's one of the good toys.

This toy is great fun for the WHOLE family. Neville, our cat, always comes running when we start playing with it. He loves to push against it and make it play the sounds. My only complaint is that it makes the wrong sound for R. It says that R says /er/ but R actually makes the sound /r/. It's really difficult to say without a vowel, but you must or kids will it up pronouncing the word row, erow. That's just not right! Anyway, we love the Word Whammer and Fridge Phonics!
