These speakers worked great for the first two months, until the wired remote control started breaking down. The volume fluctuated on its own and sound would only play on one side of headphones plugged into the control. After calling into customer service and being told that "four other people called in today with the same problem," I ordered Creative's audio control pod, thereby replacing a defective product with another defective product. I love these speakers. Loud as heck and has a lot to offer. I use it mainly on my computer but I do use it for my iPod and my PS3.

This system is quite good. I bought it for a friend, and e likes it very much. The bass is unbelieveable from such a small subwoofer, and it's quite loud if you turn it up. HOWEVER, it lacks midrange and makes some songs sound shallow and far too focused on extreme highs and lows. You will have to adjust the EQ of the device you plug in to add more midrange in order to make the sound fidelity acceptable. Honestly, for $99, I would expect more.

I can't get anything resembling the real sound of any music I know. I've played with my equalizer for over an hour and nothing sounds correct on these speakers. These are probably the worst sounding speakers I've ever purchased. My DELL speakers are better. They have less volume but at least they're warmer and they reproduce the sound correctly.

I have been researching this product for a while now. I even researched it on the Creative Labs website but found the price more reasonable through Amazon.com. I have a Creative mp3 player and found that newer downloaded music has a locked copyguard on it. By using the remote with the input allows me to listen to all my music.
