Very satisfied with my radar detector. Use it on my way to Canada and it works very well....very sensitive...good value for the price.

This is my first radar, and after all bands that this unit can detect, I say many times save several tickets. Usually I take the highway and unfortunately the limit is 60. Should be 70 or 75, so I go faster to save time. Anyways, this radar detect cops far away, so it gives me time to slow down and no problems so far. This unit was recommended as a no buy on technophile sites, but I bought it anyway, I don't speed excessivly, and despite knowing Cobra has been an industry follower rather than a leader for decades. Of course, I had to wait till I got out of Virginia to light it up; my wife plugged it in and it went through the startup sequence.
