The supplier was called "Blue Proton", which, strangely, seemed to want to give these away almost for free -- it was the shipping charge that made buying the Readers almost like buying new 128mb+ USB thumbdrives at retail.
Windows-98-SE and XP-Pro2 systems had no trouble "finding" this hardware, and allowed high-efficiency Windows file management on SD cards via USB ports without conspicuous cables and extra equipment present. The Readers worked like simple thumbdrives with SD slots. ... Read More
