Although it was inexpensive, it really wasn't worth the money. It's cheap! I don't like the base, which is a piece of metal. It's not very steady and looks cheesy. Sound is not bad. I would buy this for a kid but would spend the extra money on a better one for an adult.

I love these speakers, loud and clear, and I got them used for $12
BUT
that's with the ac adapter.
Mine won't work on dc, they make a beeping noise both with batteries and with a car/cig adapter.

They work great, got them for my grandaughter for you ipod and it work wonderful.

I got these speakers well over a year ago for my iPod Nano, and they still work well. The sound is surprisingly full for the speakers, and the price was decent as well compared to other speakers. The volume is not an issue at all, it is as loud as a $200 speaker my friend bought. But if you are looking for a speaker that will be heard over a crowd of people in a party, etc. then this product is not for you.
