The Theracane is by FAR the most effective thing I've used to treat my chronic sore muscles and knots across my middle and upper back!! I've tried heated vibrating pads, self massage, massage therapists, a chair pad with those circular rollers, and those patches that heat up when you apply them to your skin. So useful and effective..takes the knots right away and if you have the book TRiggeR POINT Therapy or another trigger point reference info, you can feel so much better in minutes!! It is better than the s shaped one , easy to grip
and even if you are a 98 lb weakling like me,you still have enough strength to use this..it is your body weight predominately or a bit of a stretch that cause a nice deep pain/strain relief.
WORTH every penny.

The Theracane is well designed to reach your muscle knots. Most of my neck pain is gone after using it and Where my pain was constant it now intermittant and not debilitating. The cane is very sturdy. It lost a star because it is so costly but it is well worth the investment. You'll better understand the phrase "hurts so good." Right now, I've got five self massage tools, four of them recommended by therapists: a foam roller, various rubbery balls from sports that I don't play, a plastic roller encased in a handy grip, a vibrating heat pad for car/chairs (not recommended by anybody including me) and the theracane. My PT recommended this to me because of knots in my shoulders that never seem to go away. This really helps with my sore neck and headaches and I can do it anytime. It really is very versatile and with a little practice, it really adds to your physical well being.
