Editorial Review: Roo and Lumpy are excited to trick or treat on Halloween until Tigger warns them of the dreaded Gobloon. Genre: Feature Film Family Rating: G Release Date: 13-SEP-2005 Media Type: DVD
Halloween can be a frightening time of year for piglets and young Heffalumps, but the power of unconditional friendship should never be underestimated. When a fierce "Gobloon" and an absence of candy threaten to ruin Lumpy's first trick-or-treating experience, Roo and Lumpy set out to capture the Gobloon and save Halloween. As the scared pair journeys toward the tree of terror, the pair reflects on Piglet's mastery of his fear of Halloween and begins to realize that togetherness empowers them. Perhaps true friendship can triumph over an evil Gobloon--even if the Gobloon does have the power to turn its pursuers into "jaggedy lanterns." But, what will happen when Roo and Lumpy become separated? French and Spanish language tracks are included on this DVD and bonus features include an almost impossible "trick or re-treat" game and party instructions for Pooh's Boo Bingo, Pass the Pumpkin, and a Heffalump Halloween Party Planner. (Ages 3 - 7) --Tami Horiuchi

Rating: - Well Done Halloween Movie!
My 3 year old adores Winnie the Pooh and loved this movie. Many complain of the older television clip of 'Boo to You, Too, Winnie the Pooh' being inserted in the movie but really...who cares. It's an approriate theme-related clip that fits in well with the movie and even if one had seen it before (which we had not), what kid doesn't watch these movies over and over and over again? So again I say 'who cares' if you've seen the old clip before...you're presumably going to see it again and again every ... Read More

Great Halloween movie for toddler age. My grandson has watched the movie several times and mimics the characters.
Rating: - Even with old movie footage, this is still a keeper!
I know it makes people mad that they put old Pooh footage in this film as a flashback but, I don't care. I love Lumpy and my son loves Roo and, together, for the past two Halloween seasons, we have loved this movie. I hear the music start playing and, instantly, I feel like it's Halloween. This is sure to be a real nostalgia maker for my kids, that they will still enjoy even when THEY'RE 35!
If you love Halloween and you're having trouble finding Halloween-ish things for your younger children, ... Read More
Rating: - One of the best movies for my 2 year old!
My 2 year old just loves this movie. The first one that she started watching was Winne the Pooh, Heffalump Movie and she absolutely loved that. We saw the preview for the Heffalump Halloween movie and I knew that I just had to get it for her. We watch it about 4 or 5 times a week.
I know it by heart!
It's well worth the money!
