This is my second HP monitor. I returned a previous one (the vs19c) and purchased this one instead.
I work from home some days and probably spend at least 25 hours a week in front of the HP 1905 monitor. I have no complaints with this monitor and have been very happy with it. I did a lot of research and eyeball viewing before purchasing this monitor. The picture is just so VERY nice. The contrast is superb, black and white are good, text sharp, and the casing is stylish. The monitor has a very nice sturdy feel to it, and the materials don't seem cheap like so many other monitors out there. Rating: - HP f1905 is top quality for text & games
I spent a few weeks looking over about 40 different monitor choices. After going in person to see them and pouring through reviews and data I settled on this HP f1905. This monitor really needs more press, there aren't as many reviews on it as there are on other models like Sony, Samsung, or ViewSonic models, but this monitor is a gem.

In case you are wondering, this monitor is the HP f 1905. I have no idea why this is not pointed out in the description, as this monitor is one of the top 5 monitors on recent PC World reviews (and the TOP "no glare" monitor). This monitor is great, bright, crisp pictures. Easy to read even fine print. No dead pixels as far as I can see. Great for video and even games (I am no expert, but I didn't notice any ghosting).
