For starters, there's little question that the Flatron L1981Q will turn heads once you set it up on your desk. With a graceful profile, a near-impossible 1.5-inch depth, blue LED, and shiny, silvery, ring-shaped stand, this monitor is something to behold. The black-and-silver bezel, which is less than one inch, is smooth on all sides, and the monitor features a unique double-hinged arm that allows it to fold to just over two inches in height, rotate from landscape to portrait view, and bend 180 degrees backwards. This means that if you want to share the screen with a person sitting across from you, they won't have to move. And thanks to LG's AutoPivot (landscape to portrait) and Auto Mirror software, the image automatically adjusts to accommodate the position of the screen. couldn't be happier. Oblivion looks awesome on it. I am running a 4200 amd dual core, 2gigs ram, asus8800gts video card

Very good at the price. Rotation a little stiff and unwieldy. First try caused plastic cover on arm to pop off, but it was easily put back on.
Note for Mac users-will not automatically rotate image (no mac driver) but you can use OS X "Display" preference panel "Rotate" pop up button.

I needed a new monitor for my new Sony Vaio. I checked out a few at places like Best Buy, Circuit City, Staples etc. I thought I wanted the Samsung until I saw it side by side with the LG. No comparison! Great moniter, Great price, easy setup.
