King Of Fighters NeoWave is a 2D revolution in fighting action. All the action and gameplay that made KOF a classic is still here, with all-new graphics and online multiplayer support. The most popular and famous characters from The King of Fighters franchise are here, plus the great fighting teams, like the Fatal Fury Team featuring Terry and Andy Bogard. King Of Fighters NeoWave features a total of 43 characters yielding 12 of the most dangerous fighting teams plus 7 bonus fighters.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Still the King
Being an old school gamer, I have a soft spot in my heart for the 2d brawlers. The current 3d fighters on the market look incredible, but I've always found them lacking. Perhaps I'm just a sucker for the half-circle/quarter-circle moves.

As you would expect from any KoF game, there's a huge roster here, with many of the SNK favorites to chose from. It seems to me that some of the fighters got a bit of a boost over previous incarnations, and some may have been toned down. Terry's ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - A brief review with some tidbits.
Basically, this is a KOF 2002 clone with a bunch of tweeks to it. What I mean by "tweeks" is that a good deal of the existing characters that were in 2002 had their stats modified a little bit as well as a few combo changes. Not to mention that the new groove system for Neowave also disturbs some of the balance in the character rooster. I won't go in depth about character tiers in this game. Go visit some fighting game boards if you want that. But basically, this is just a diffrent flavor of ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - This Amazingly Balanced Fighter Still Falls Short
When I first got this game I was a tad dissapointed. It Had NO Story. NONE! It had a smaller rooster then KoF2002(46 After every1 is unlocked in Endless mode)& many of the characters I was good with were tweaked to the point that I was thrown completely off my game(I'm looking @ you Mature & Geese).
The graphics were kinda off also, High res semi-3-D Backdrops & lower rez sprites(which look even worse when compared to KoF 2003 or even KoF evolution for Dreamcast). However the ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Glorified Street Fighter
For an Xbox game in this day and age, this game leaves a lot to be desired. It reminds me of the old "Street Fighter" games from a few generations ago. 2D graphis is the main reason why. This game does have a lot of characters to choose from which is cool, but also means you have over 43 different combos to learn unless you play with the same characters over and over. I'd look elsewhere first before I'd buy this game.

Rating: out of 5 stars - WOW reminds me of Street Fighter.
I am amazed when SNK made this game because it's 2D like Street Fighter. I like the way the fighters are designed, and It suppose to be a great new game. Anyway I also wanted to ask anyone this? can this be played on the XBOX 360?
