- Headset is A-Okay
We purchased two of these plantronics headsets for use of our cordless phones. We have a Motorola, Sony, and Panosonic cordless phones around the house and the M214C Plantronics headsets works relatively well. Since the headsets are not battery operated volume you hear is never real high, but Plantronics headset seem to have the best volume and a voice clarity in the market.

Use this daily for online conferences and many phone calls. Great quality hearing and speaking, even for those with harder hearing. Also love the ability to mute the speaker - especially when gkids have a noisy moment.

- Finally, a headset that lets people hear me on a 5.8GHz cordless phone
People can hear me talk with this headset on my Panasonic 5.8 GHz cordless phone--a breakthrough. With other headsets I've tried, people could barely hear me on any cordless phone I've used, even though those headsets (e.g., the Panasonic KX-TCA92) worked perfectly with my cell phone. This 214C headset has solved my problem.

I can hear other people fine, as well. The only thing I don't like is the mute switch; it's too hard to slide.

I was excited about this little headset as it has the volume control and mute
features right on the cord. So handy. I'm using a Samsung cell phone.

But I was disappointed using it. Even turned up to "maximum" volume, I could barely hear. And those I talked to on the other end couldn't hear me, either. The headset itself seems sturdy, but the volume control is both flimsy in construction and useless in function. Bummer.
Would not recommend.

Having tried other hands free earphones, this is by far the best thing going! It doesn't fall out of your ear or off your head. It's comfortable and works great.
