Rating:  - its fun for a time...then it gets old
the fact when you increase the level the only way to keep the ball from getting stolen is to knock the opponent constantly on his/her butt before they get to you makes it get boring on the legend level and eventually all the other levels are way too easy...the characters are fun, super kicks for the main characters are nice but get corny at times, and the goal-keeper seems to make amazing saves but then allow the easiest goals...its not pure soccer and you know that going in but it should still be ... This is the best video game I have ever played, I love soccer so this worked for me. You never get board and the 2 player game is awesome.
Some many games don't cater for 2 play, concentrating on 1 player. but not this game. if you want a soccer game to play with your buddy or a family member this is the game for you.

I bought this game for my kids and they just love it. What a game!!! It was fast and exciting all in one. Beats any real simulated game. Cartoon characters and throwing turtles shells at the opponent is extremely fun.

I'll admit, my first reaction to Super Mario Strikers was skepticism. Another Nintendo ploy to make money by slapping Mario's name on some sport. But, once again, Nintendo makes me eat my words. To put it simply, this game is pure hectic, frenetic fun.
