I used to have a Wacom tablet way back in the old days, but this one definitely wins hands-down. Although it may not have all of the features of the Intuos, unless you're one of those "I nid all teh feechures!1" guys, you shouldn't be disappointed. I've had it for months and it's been working great! No problems with it on either XP or Vista, and the software it came with wasn't top-of-the-line, but it wasn't shabby in the least.

The tablet would not install in XP with the drivers shipped with the unit. Downloaded new drivers from their web site and it installed fine. Then the pen kept switching from pen mode to mouse mode every couple of minutes. Sent a message to Wacom support Friday afternoon and received a response Monday morning. Seems the tablet does not like being plugged into a USB hub and wants a direct USB connection. Since getting all that straight everything has worked just fine.

Great for any artist. Or even if you just do not want to use a mouse anymore and just use the pen to navigate around...The programmable buttons on the pen and tablet are a plus and the pressure sensitivity works great.

I often wondered if I could have gotten the smaller 4x5 tablet, but feel that this size fits perfectly and any smaller and I would not be able to cover the entire screen. It works incredibly well with my Photoshop and Illustrator programs. Provided that you have a steady hand, this becomes an incredible tool and makes everything so much easier to control.
