On Sunday night October 23 2005 TNA Wrestling presented the epic "Bound For Glory" live and exclusively on Pay-Per-View. The most anticipated event in TNA Wrestling history saw "The Man Beast" Rhino achieve the greatest accolade of his wrestling career as he becamse the NWA World Heavyweight Champion! In addition the Pay-Per-View featured the "Monster's Ball 2" resulting in one of the most barbaric matches in TNA history as well as an "International Showdown" between Samoa Joe and Japanese legend Jushin "Thunder" Liger! I usually don't buy wrestling ppv dvd's, but for any TNA fan or Wrestling fan this is one to have.Its shows off what TNA USED TO BE and wrestling as a whole. Alot of fimilar faces in the dvd. Its just one to have. I highly recomend it.

Samoa Joe VS Jushin "Thunder" Liger: A good Nmatch but could have been way better.
Monty Brown VS Lance Hoyt: A basic big man match. Nothing really speical.
Chris Sabin VS Matt Bently VS Petey Williams in an Ultimate X match: While its TNA's signature match to lure fans into TNA, I thought this match sucked.

1. Sonjay Dutt vs. Alex Shelly vs. Austin Aries vs. Roderick Strong in a four way X-Division match- This was a great way to kick off the show. In fact this match was free because they had so many matches on the card that you could watch this one and than decide if you wanted to order the ppv or not. Rating: - Just as good as Wrestlemania
I liked this PPV for sure. It lived up to the hype. The Samoa Joe match with Liger was fantastic. The tag team match was great between AMV and the naturals. The Monsters Ball match was insane to watch, although it is funny watching Jeff Hardy telling Abyss his spots out loud enough to hear it. The main event was really good also with Rhino getting the belt. The ending with Team 3D making the save was good also. Well done. If this is the only TNA PPV you are going to buy, it would be well done.

TNA Bound For Glory 2005 was an awesome event can't wait for Bound For Glory this year. I think this year's will beat last years cuz of the addition of Sting and Christian Cage and also TNA is getting out of Orlando which is a good thing but i hope TNA can go to bigger arenas for PPV's and Impact tapings cuz they can get lots of more money cuz they do need some extra cash
to get some more big names.But still TNA is a fantastic promotion which will just keep getting better in the years to come.PS ... Read More
