When I was a kid and went to our local Prange Way to buy this album in 1980 they were sold out and all I could buy was the 8track! So for years I heard it in all that interesting click and clacks that came on during the track changes. Of course as the years passed, I have bought every version made available and thankfully in the last few months Chrysalis Records got wise and remastered Pat's first three albums.

In recent years, I've been digging deeper into some artists that I enjoyed but never owned any albums from at the time.I was familiar with "Treat Me Right", "Hell Is For Children" and of course "Hit Me With Your Best Shot"--which gets relentless airplay even to this day, that and "Heart Breaker" from her debut.

Rating: - The B-sides are the reason to buy this instead of a greatest hits CD.
I remember owning this on cassette back in the 80s. You can get the main hits off of her G/H or other compilation CDs, but you'll miss out on the great B-sides that are very enjoyable. Some prime examples are: Out-A-Touch, Prisoner Of Love, You Better Run, Little Paradise. Not one bad song on here. Of course, Hit Me With Your Best Shot is probably her greatest hit, but to truly appreciate her work you should give this a listen from start to finish. A must for any true fan.
