The widescreen 14-inch BrightView display is easily viewable even in direct sunlight and is great for watching DVD movies in their natural aspect ratio. It's powered by a powerful 2.0 GHz AMD Turion 64 ML-37 processor (which is ready to handle demanding 64-bit applications), and also offers a 80 GB hard drive, 2 GB of installed RAM (maxing out the capacity), LightScribe dual layer DVD+/-RW drive (which also burns CDs), 54g wi-fi connectivity with 125HSM/SpeedBooster support, and Bluetooth wireless connectivity (for synchronizing your PC with cell phones and PDAs).
The Basics
- Hard Drive: The 120 GB hard drive (4200 RPM) is large in size for notebook PCs, and it's roomy enough to store business productivity applications, all your important documents and presentations, and a good-sized digital audio and video library.

Screen, Graphics and Sound

You'll get TV-quality images, even in direct sunlight. Video is powered by the ATI Radeon XPress 200M IGP video/graphics card, which delivers good, though not high-end, 3D graphics. ATI's HyperMemory technology allows the chipset to run in either Unified Memory Architecture (UMA) mode or with dedicated frame buffer memory to enhance graphics performance. The V2670US has an integrated 54g wireless LAN that's fully compatible with 802.11b/g wireless networks. The 125 HSM/SpeedBooster support will enable it to be ready for tomorrow's 125 Mbps wireless LANs. With the Bluetooth wireless connectivity, you can synchronize and transfer files between the PC and peripherals such as cell phones and PDAs.
