Debut album features 12 power pop-rock songs, all written by the 18 year old artist. The record lays bare Daniel's soul, addressing life issues like coming of age and finding clarity amidst confusion. Ever true to her faith in God, Daniels also talks honestly about her spiritual journey in a real and revelant way. All of this is wrapped in a fun package with singable melodies and contagious hooks. Jesse Daniels has something honest and unshakable to share with all who listen.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Good Debut
Jessie Daniels has put together a solid debut album. It has a good rock sound with some pretty good messages.

Most of the songs are rather lyrically ambiguous. They could be talking about a relationship with God or a human. The only thing that makes it clear that many of them have a spiritual context is the CD jacket. In it, Jessie talks about her relationship with the Lord and relates that to the song in question. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but if one has not read that ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Move Along...
Alright, there's only one minor enjoyable song on here, and that's the first, the rest including "Everyday" and "What I Hear" are disgraces to music. Really, it's that bad. And other people agree, they might not say those particular songs, but I think most would agree that there's at least one part of this album that is unlistenable. So why buy the CD? The vocals, lyrics, melody struggle throughout the whole record to say the least. And if that wasn't enough, this is the most radio-friendly album ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Reasons I don't like Jessie Daniels....

REASONS NOT TO LIKE JESSIE

1: Jessie Daniels is a very talented girl, but she basically sings the same type of song over and over again. I don't know about you guys, but I want a little variety.

2: She looks like a very mean person on the cover.

3: Isn't she supposed to be a Christian? Why is she singing about love stuff in Hello/Goodbye?

4: "Letting Go" is rotten and is not well written.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Tail-kicking punk Christian Rock
The Christian equivalent of Avril Lavigne. Check out "Hello/Goodbye". My 17 year old daughter loves it.

Rating: out of 5 stars - I LOVE THIS CHICK
I am a new fan of the christian rock world. Starting off with really good artist this would have to be one of my fav. I can understand every word, and she doesnt let her music drown out her singing which is something I rarely hear in rock. The words to her songs are absolutely wonderful and really make a person think about their life. JESUS IS THE WAY and you will get the point after buying this wonderful cd.
