Rating:  - Good but not a library
I liked the easy download and purchasing of books, however I did not like the limited amount of technical manuals and difficulty in getting non kindle books into the device. The pdf conversion and input method does not produce the same quality of document that can be purchased.

I bought a Kindle for my mom who has ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and is no longer able to hold a book. I cannot say enough about the joy and independence this has brought back to her! She has missed reading so much, and the ability to 'disappear' into a book and actually turn the page herself has been beyond liberating. Bravo Kindle!

I love my Kindle. I'm a teacher and had great plans for closet cleaning this summer. Nope, not gonna happen. I'm hooked. Yes, it has a few minor things that are a little hinky, but I'm used to them now. I'm a little disappointed that the new Janet Evanovich book isn't available.

I just love my kindle. I'm constantly reading. In fact, my husband is concerned that I may be reading too much!! I definitely am hooked. It's so easy to read - you never even have to turn a page. Also, purchasing reading materials is like instant gratification - that's how quick they download. I brought it on vacation with me out of the country and read 4 books while I was gone. It's well worth the money. Okay, I have to go now and read some more :)
Rating: - What an amazing product
This is a great product, just bought one for my dad and he absolutely loves it. I can't wait for v2 to come out so I can buy one for myself :-), assuming the minor annoyances on the ergonomics are addressed. We will see!
