This Microsoft Zune is a great mp3 player. It is lightweight and enjoyable. It does a lot of things such as show the videos, etc. I love the Zune.

Before purchasing this player, I owned a 5.5gen 30gb iPod. Now I used these mp3 players for playing music in my car and in my house. In terms of in-car music, the iPod was hard to navigate while driving - in particular, scrolling through songs was not precise and I constantly had to scroll back slowly to get the right song (while not paying attention to the road! dangerous!). In-house music, the iPod was fine, no real problems.

I have the Zune for over a year. Its solid made unlike the delicate Ipods that are way to sensitve. Zune holds plety of songs and its easy to sync songs, pics,videos and it has great sound.
Its a good size especially for those who dont want to fiddle around with small tiny devices. Zune device is easy on the fingers the fingers when navitgating
I have no problem with the software. Zune updates the software with improvements regularly just a download away.
