Most bands that come from Nashville wear cowboy hats write songs about punching their horses. No such problems with the Pink Spiders, who at an early age sound like they traded in their Oak Ridge Boys CDs for the complete back catalog of New York's mid-'90s garage rock revivalists, D-Generation. Like that group's breakthrough album, No Lunch, this disc was also produced by Ric Ocasek, the former Cars front man who has built a second career out of creating hits for guys that dress like his old band. Cue a fast and furious racket of skuzzy guitars, blasting power-pop drum fills and skinny-tie sound effects that turn up pleasantly stupid guilty pleasures like "Saturday Nite Riot" and "Little Razorblade." --Aidin Vaziri

Rating: out of 5 stars - Poppy but smells like punk
I have to admit I went into this album expecitng to hate it. A band named "The Pink Spiders"? After giving it a chance I absolutly love this album. They have a very pop sound which I am not usually into but the format still sounds punk which is what makes it good. I am suprised these guys have not blown up yet.

I would purchase another CD by them when it comes out.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Great album
I saw one song from this band on a middle of the night MTV program and went for it. This album is fun, fast, energetic, consistent, and generally awesome. I'm now a Pink Spiders fan.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Good up and coming band!
The album is good and when I saw them warm up for Good Charlotte I was impressed with their stage presence.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Fantastic
This album is fantastic if not perfect. I like the first track "Soft Smoke" which has great guitar playing at the beginning of the song. Wicked song. The second "Saturday Nite Riot" ain't as good as the first one but still good. My favorite songs on this cd are "Modern Swinger" a extremely catchy song and "Little Razorblade" a awesome track. I usually go for stuff like The Click Five and Mcfly but I do like the Pink Spiders too.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Really Great
This is one of my favorite CD's I own. They have a ver unique type of music that I find very appealing. I would reccomend it to anyone who loves music!
