Editorial Review:Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses is the story of Barbie as Genevieve, 1 of 12 sisters who live happily with their father the king. Concerned that the high-spirited, independent princesses need more structure to become proper princesses, the king invites his cousin, the Dutchess Rowena to move into the castle. Rather than help, Rowina forbids the sisters from singing and dancing and squelches their individuality. The princesses discover a magical enchanted world and escape the tyranny of Rowena. But when Genevieve learns that their father's life is in danger, the sisters must unite to save the king and their kingdom.

This game is wondeful for girls (some boys) who are just starting to get involved with computer games. Even if you buy it when they are too young they will grow into it. My granddaughters enjoyed this game a lot and told me to rate it a 5. One started to play it when she was 3 and the other played it till she was 8 or so. You can not go wrong with this one.

My review is targeted to those that wish this game for their toddler age kids. I purchased this game for my 3 year old daughter. She is a huge fan of the Barbie animated movies and the 12 Dancing Princesses is one of her favorites from the collection. I had purchased the Rapunzel game earlier this year and she loved it. It was very easy for her to use and kept her attention for longer than 20 minutes. In fact, it was so easy that she beat the game on her own over the course of a couple of days ... Read More

this game is awesome. that six-year-old baby just doesn't understand how to play this game, she's just a big know-at-all. and i love going to get the elixer. just the only thing that's annoying about this game is that stupid bird. and someone please shoot that monkey! this game was fun overall, but that stupid monkey and thats stupid bird should be out of the game. i completed this game, like, 1000 times. i love barbie!

I bought this game for my 9 year old daughter. She has many of the other Barbie games. She loves this movie and loves to dance so I got this game for her birthday with much anticipation but when she put it on the computer she was greatly disappointed. The scenery moves with the character which caused her confusion. She became very frustrated and started crying because she couldn't do the game. I even tried to play the game for awhile and was very disappointed. Luckily I also gave her Barbie Diaries ... Read More

I've seen mixed reviews about Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princesses game. The bottom line is...yes, it does challenge the mind and my daughter has gotten frustrated with it but she enjoys playing it. I'm glad I bought it for her.
