i was kind of skeptikal about buying this product after seeing that it had no charge port, but after reciving a cheap bootleg case for a product that promised to be better, i decided to go with this shell. i was very pleased with it. the plastic is VERY hard and protects the 2G nano well. the beltclip was the best part of it though, also very sturdy. my only reservation for this case is that since it fits first and second generation nanos it's not shaped to any perticular design and alot of dust ... Rating: - Rugged, but could use some improvements.
As noted in a previous review, you can't charge the iPod while it's in this case. The case itself though, is extremely thick plastic, and fits a bit tighter than I'd like. I haven't dropped it yet (give me a few minutes), but I'm sure it'll protect my nano (iPod, that is! ;) ) I tried using a pair of wire cutters to cut out a slot for the charging cord, but it's too thick. Rating:  - All Scuffed up
Opened the package and there were scuff marks over it. I thought it would wipe off but doesn't. If I didn't know any better I'd say it was used. Also have to remove from case to sync.
Rating: - No Opening to Sync/Charge
Major flaw is you have to take it out of the case to sync/charge your iPod!
