This is the second iGo product I've purchased -- the iGo adapter for my treo 700p failed within 3 months of purchase. The DC power cord from the unit to my Laptop failed after using it just a few times. Given these two experiences and finding several reports on the internet citing the same problem, I say iGo needs to engineer their products better.

I've had mine for a year and it is wonderful! I also purchased the Dual Power Accessory and have tips for my cell, Kindle, GPS and camera. The convenience (not having a gazillon chargers) and ease of changing tips is great. I have had no problems at all and would highly recommend iGo products to anyone.
Rating:  - Stay away from IGO products - they go bad fast!
I started using IGO products about 2 years ago. I don't mean that I own several IGO products. I mean that I've been replacing the same powercord over and over again for the last couple years. About two years ago my original power supply for my Powerbook G4 fried. A friend told me about the IGO product line and suggested that I could get a replacement cord for the same price (about $80) but enjoy much more versatility with the new cord. Rating: - iGo 70 a great solution for older laptops
I have been using this on the road for a few months, in conjunction with the optional "phone tip charger" adapter (273-1787), and have used it to power both an older Sony and Dell laptop with the included tips, and also two phones and a PDA with the adapter above. Very nice that it runs from AC or DC. Bright blue LED actually also worked as a night light for 3 year old daughter in a hotel as well!
