Editorial Review:
Anacapri the Dream is an adventure game that takes you into a hidden part of the world, to uncover a strange truth. Dr. Nico, an expert on ancient civilizations, is invited to the island of Capri to examine a newly-uncovered obsidian disk. Upon studying it, he finds it is more dangerous than he ever imagined -- through it, Dr. Nico learns that reality is in fact an illusion. The truth about our world is far beyond what you might have believed. This explosive mix of mythology, literature, legends and history lets you interact with real townspeople, legendary and historical Anacapri characters. You'll also meet several mythical characters such as Nereus, Poseidon, the Siren and the Nereids. Your journey will eventually lead to the final upsetting revelation and a thrilling alternate ending. Rating: out of 5 stars - EVEN LOOKING AT THIS GAME IS WASTE OF TIME!!
SERIOUSLY THAY MADE THIS 2007?!? COULD HAVE FOOLED ME! U WALK ENDLESSLY, TALK TO PEOPLE WHO SOUND COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THEN THEY APPEAR AND DO NOT SAY ANYTHING NEAR INTERESTING, AND I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO EVEN QUIT THE GAME WITHOUT PRESSING CTRL ALT DEL. IM GOING TO THROW THIS GAME IN THE GARBAGE AND ADVISE EVERYONE NOT TO DONATE ANYMORE MONEY TO THIS RIDICULOUS GAME COMPANY!

Rating: out of 5 stars - Disappointing
I'm up for a good adventure as the next person and I do enjoy exploring new and interesting places, but I'm afraid that this game leaves a great deal to be desired. While the pictures are pretty, it does nothing to help the fact that the directions are confusing and I was constantly getting stuck trying to figure out how to get to the next part. There are things you have to do that you have no idea to do them because it's never pointed out that you need to do it and there's no one to ask for hints ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Hated It
I did not like this game at all. I don't like communicating with still pictures. There is no direction for you to follow. You could wander around for a long time not knowing where to go and what to do. This is one of the worst games I have ever played.

Rating: out of 5 stars - atrocious
This is the worst PC game I have ever played. I'm very suspicious of the "reviewers" up here giving it 5 stars. Don't waste your money on this pile.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Not spectacular, but the pictures are pretty
I have to agree with another reviewer and say that I can't believe this game was made in 2007. All of the scenes are still pictures, even the sequences where someone has a long dialogue they simply change photos during the scene, and sometimes the pictures don't actually line up with what is being said (some sequences seem to be a frame ahead or behind what the dialogue is) there is no real action other than perhaps something pops into the picture or water appears to ripple.

That said, ... Read More
