The 800 MHz Intel Ultra Mobile processor A110 is based on the Intel Pentium M processor, and it delivers an innovative collection of energy-efficient silicon building blocks and technologies designed to enable the productivity, security and manageability capabilities you expect from a PC. It also offers a 512 KB L2 cache and 400 MHz front-side bus (FSB). (An L2, or secondary, cache temporarily stores data; and a larger L2 cache can help speed up your system's performance. The FSB carries data between the CPU and RAM, and a faster front-side bus will deliver better overall performance.)

Additionally, a high-resolution 1.3-megapixel camera supports video recording and still pictures, allowing you to simply snap and send videos/photographs with a single device.
With the integrated Bluetooth technology, you can connect wirelessly to peripherals such as your cell phone and make cable clutter a thing of the past. Bluetooth 2.0+EDR is up to three times faster than its predecessors, offering a maximum data rate of 3Mbps, and is also backwards-compatible with Bluetooth 1.x devices. This version of the Q1 Ultra is compatible with Samsung's optional HSDPA cellular modem. High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) is a new form of mobile broadband that is capable of transmitting data at speeds up to seven times faster than the best 3G networks in existence. By improving downlink capacity, and so removing this potential bottleneck, HSDPA allows you to enjoy large-scale multimedia downloads, such as DVD-quality movies and interactive multimedia games, with high-speed wireless Internet access comparable to speeds of fixed-line ADSL services.

Though it only has 1 GB of RAM and an 800 MHz processor, this little machine can run Windows Vista quite well.

EDIT: 4 stars (3 was a typo) not 5 because it sometimes is too sluggish and the interface could still be slightly improved.
Why did i get the Q1U? Because I wanted a good compromise between screen quality and portability in a windows device. What for? believe it or not: to be able to run a 3D CAD program (namely DesignCAD). Not realy in order to do the main drawings there, but in order to have them available, be able to look at them when on the go and eventually even create a small item ... Read More
Rating:  - Nifty gadget, but....
Pretty good size gadget even for Asian hands. Feels firm and solid for prolong usage. Heat dissipated is generally acceptable.
But Vista is definitely not suitable to run on this kind of machine. Recommended to upgrade to 2GB RAM with XP and the machine is almost perfect. Can't expect blazing fast processing and speed as this is running on a low voltage processor.
Overall a pretty good second machine for web, simple games and office applications.
Rating: - Too many corners cut..
This system does not run well out of the box. You will need to upgrade the memory to 2gb and replace the atheros wifi module. The cheap wifi module causes the system to constantly pause (for up to 10 seconds!). It's a driver issue for sure but none the less, it's annoying. After these changes I still wasn't happy with the performance so I switched to xp tablet PC edition OS. Now my Q1u-v runs ok. I've come to not expect much in the performance department of these little PC but they should be able to ... Read More
Rating: - Compact but Slooow
This basically does what I want--with the optional keyboard and case, requires little space and weight in a suitcase when those are at a premium--major drawbacks are processor speed, battery life (maybe half an hour based on settings), and limited wireless distance. Otherwise great machine.
