About two and a half years ago I was in the hospital just bored in the bed channel surfing and stumbled upon QVC. I watched for a while before a Dr. Denese came on for an hour of beauty talk and her selling her products. I tend to try the new products on the market not always believing their claims to transform your skin blahblahblah...and I thought, ok, why not try one more. This book provided me with one of the best piece of information about skin that is exfoliation does not makes you skin thinner rather makes it thicker. I am really grateful to Dr. Denese for making that clear because I always worried that if I use my micridermabrasion cream more my already thin skin will be thinner. But the extant of exfoliation this book suggested is not suitable for a sensitive skin person (I just have mildly sensitive skin). Infact I dont think even I can sustain use of 10% glycolic ... This book has given me a great overview in knowledge about skin care. Dr Denese does own her own product line which is mentioned throughout, (but not exclusively). I found the info relating to ingredients and strength of ingredients very helpful. As well as the different steps in cleansing and moizturizing.
