I thought that this album would have tell me and baby luv the exact two versions that I have heard before. However I was disappointed and bored when I listen to this album. The only good song was tell me but I found out that the version of baby luv was a remix and, the only other version I can find of this song is the summer groove mix which is probably the song I thought I was going to hear. Rating:  - 90'a RnB reigns supreme!
This is one of the MANY amazing RnB albums that came out during the 1990's that had that jazzy/hiphop flavah. "Tell Me" is a powerful timeless song that I still bump to this day. "Keep Trying" is incredibly uplifting!
The only thing I don't like is that "Baby Luv" version on the CD is NOT the soulful groovy club version that bumps harder. The CD version is like some kind of throwback version. I don't really care for that one. Other than that this CD is tight.

Great album to chill to. Nice soulful jazzy tracks. Great to have in the music collection.

I have listened to alot of cds in my time, and I have to say that "Groove Theory" is one of those rare times that all the music on the cd sounds fantastic. I have to admit, that I am taken back even more by this cd now that I am older and can appreciate the messages in the music.
If Groove Theory was just an experiment, it was, and still is successful.
