Sony's memory stick is great for my purpose,which is recording CD's to a
PCM recorder. It enables me to keep many albumns with me to listen to at my convenience.The same bit rate as the CD assures me of identical playback quality.

I've been using this in my PSP for about 6mo, and a few weeks ago I started getting read errors during video playback. Then my Sony media reader started having a hard time recognizing it. Now the PSP doesn't see it at all! Luckily I backed up all my save games when I first started having probs. I decided to try the SanDisk 8gb now instead.

I bought this 16GB memory stick for use with my Sony HDR-CX12 and it works just fine. It is a bit expensive compared to SD/SDHC cards, however, Sony camcorders only take a meory stick and so i bought this. No complaints on the working. The transfer speeds are good to the laptop as well. Buy it if you need it.
