Rating: out of 5 stars - Great old school arcade bundle
This collection has some of the most important arcade classics from the late 80s and early 90s: a street fighter II variant, a 194X vertical shooter, several horizontal shooters, and Strider. I tried a console version of Strider back in the early 90s - might have been a Nintendo console - and it sucked vs. the arcade game. These are all the real original arcade versions, the only thing missing is the greasy joystick and skeeball ticket redemption counter 10 feet to my left. Definitely a winning value for your PS2.

Rating: out of 5 stars - THE PAST
I BOUGHT THIS TITLE BECAUSE OF THE GAMES I REMEMBER AS A KID AND THOUGHT I WOULD ENJOY THEM NOW AS AN ADULT GAMER, BUT THAT IS NOT TRUE.FROM THE WAY THE NINTENDO CONTROLLED THEM AND HOW THAT IS DONE IS A BIT DUMBED DOWN. YOU DONT HAVE TO WORK HARD TO GET MORE LIVES OR SAVE POINTS YOU CAN DIE RUN OUT OF MEN AND NOT HAVE TO START FRESH FROM THE BEGINING YOU JUST RESTART FROM THE POINT OF DEMISE, AND SINCE I AM PLAYING ON A PS3 IT IS REALLY SMARTER THAN THE GAMES. KEEP THE MEMORIES OF WHEN YOU PLAYED IN YOUR YOUTH BECAUSE ITS NOT THE SAME EXPERIANCE NOW...

Rating: out of 5 stars - old school is here, but...............
Ho-Hum, I enjoyed vol.1 more. I just wanted this one for the 1st STREET FIGHTER. Even though it's fairly pathetic in terms of graphics & gameplay compared to any of the SF2 series. I just don't understand why capcom didn't just put SF1 in SF: Anniversary collection as an unlockable. But anyway all the other games were pretty good to see and play again, at least there's a lot of 'em and thats always a good thing.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Black Tiger,Strider and 18 more Capcom classics on one disc!!! Wow!!!
Virtually a 20 game arcade on one small disc for enjoyment on the PS2 or 3!!! Being a Black Tiger fan I was in video game heaven when this game was released!!! Heck, I bought a PS2 and a PSP also, just to play Black Tiger again, and you can even pick the number of lives and difficulty, just try doing that on the arcade original, well you can't!!! A boatload of positive memories!!! the other 19 games are a hoot as well,Strider,Captain Commando,Block Block(it's sort of like Super Breakout or Arkanoid, and is just as fun!),Magic Sword,King Of Dragons(my nephew Trey's favorite, but he likes Black Tiger as well!),Knights of The Round,Quiz and Dragons(you need your thinking cap for this one!),Three Wonders and many more!!! An awesome bargain for the money!!!Two Thumbs Up,Way Up!!! Five stars!!! A+

Rating: out of 5 stars - Awesome Game!!!
This game has pretty good graphics and over 20 different games on it. A lot of the games on it are medieval and are a lot alike but they are fun. There are also fighting games on this too that are fun. My favorite games on this are, Street Fighter, Street Fighter 2 turbo fighting, Captain Commando, Knights of the Round, King of Dragons and Three Wonders. Block Block is kind of stupid and I don't know if it is black tiger or tiger road but that game is lame and hard. I wish that there were interviews or clips on here like other compilations/arcade games had. If you are looking for other compilation/arcade games look for my reviews on... Taito Legends 1, Midway Arcade Treasures 1-3, Intellivision Lives, and Atari Anthology. Reviews Coming soon...
